Pet-friendly hotels encourage visitors to tour the gorgeous New Jersey landscape with their pets. They ensure the joy of journeying with one’s pet while residing at one of the many pet-friendly accommodation options New Jersey has to offer.

New Jersey contains hundreds of miles of undulating landscape set amidst mountains, lakes, and forests. A large number of hotels, motels, and resorts receive pets throughout Atlantic City. Categories of pets permitted differ by accommodations. A number of points have to be kept in mind when taking a pet into a hotel. The pet should be included at the time one makes the room reservations. Some hotels have specific rooms for pets. Try to prevent your pets from ruining the furniture by bringing a sheet to cover the chairs your pup will sit in. Some hotels furnish the sheets. It is advisable not to leave your pets alone in your room.

Some hotels may permit you to leave your well-mannered pet alone in the room, if he is left in a carrier. Pets are usually not permitted in lobby areas and restaurants. It would also be prudent not to let your pet dirty the ground, since clearing the waste is compulsory. The dog must be leashed. People who are scared of dogs will feel more at ease. Most hotel owners make it compulsory for one's dog to be on a leash. While one is in the room with a dog, place the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door or keep the dead bolt locked. Many housekeepers have been startled or frightened by dogs when entering a room. Barking and whining dogs can be irritating or annoying to hotel neighbors.
